Mountain Training Camp (Northern Drakensberg) – September 2021
This camp is designed for fit runners of all levels
Mont Aux Sources race route from Maihai Campsite to Tugela Falls via Witsieshoek and back again a round trip of 50 km. This is an out and back route and runners can turn back at any point allowing you to run experience as much of the famous Monties route as you like.
Run the Berg Day 1 – 25 km OR 15 km with options to cut either route shorter

These mountain trips are a fantastic place for you to learn about gear, nutrition, pacing, navigation and they will definitely improve your ability to manage yourself safely in the mountains. We hold formal lectures on a variety of topics including GPS Navigation, Ultra running Nutrition, Gear selection and race preparation.
This camp is perfectly suited for those who are preparing for Run the Berg and Karkloof.
It’s also a wonderful learning opportunity for those who are relatively new to the sport of trail and mountain running.
Accommodation, meals and transport are for your own account. We suggest that you stay over at Hlalanathi Berg Resort where we will be doing the afternoon/evening lectures.
