Attached are the GPX Tracks for the 3 days in a single ZIP file.
Day 1 has two different days, the original full route(Didima Dreaming) and an alternate route(Grays Pass Challenge) which starts at Monks, goes to the top of Grays Pass and returns.
Take a look at the tracks. Be warned that the distances on the GPX track for the Didima Dreaming route do not measure up to what you will get on the ground. The GPS units usually get closer to 54.
Day 2 is the Van Heynigans Run(Von Heynigans Run – Out) the GPX file is only the out leg. We will arrange for a pickup from Injisuthi for those who want it. Most of you will do a turn around there and head back on the same track.
Day 3 is the Sterkhorn FKT(Sterkhorn), take a look at the route. It’s an out and back from the carpark at Monks Cowl 16 km and 1500 m of climbing. The current record is 1:58:08 , held by Johardt van Heerden and the women’s record is held by Meg MacKenzie in a time of 2:32:37. Of course you guys will be running this after warming up over the previous 2 days with 80 to 90 km of mountain running in your legs.
